Egg CSA

What is a CSA

CSA Stands for Community Supported Agriculture. CSA allows local customers to have direct access to high quality, fresh produce grown locally. When you become a member of a CSA, you’re purchasing a “share” of produce, in this case it’s eggs from our pasture raised chickens.

Each egg CSA share will be two dozen eggs delivered to your door every two weeks, with seasonal changes in egg quantities (fewer eggs in the fall & winter, more eggs in the spring & summer).

One CSA share is $14 every two weeks, available as a subscription (link to post here when it’s available)

CSA home delivery begins May 2024

And last, but not least, the CSA membership gets you access to the most exclusive poultry newsletter in all of Southeast Minnesota: The Hensider. That’s right, you too can receive a monthly update on the goings-on of all your favorite chickens here at Green Machine Farm.

About our eggs

Here at Green Machine Farm, our hens are free-ranged their entire lives, never confined to a battery cage or layer house.  Our chickens aren’t simply egg factories—they’re chickens. They roam around on pasture, soak up the sun, and dig in the dirt.

Our happy hens lay eggs that taste a whole lot better than anything you’re likely to find at the grocery store.  Their varied diet and vigorous exercise leads them to lay more nutrient-dense eggs that have bright-orange yolks that herald a true free-range lifestyle.
